South Bimini is quieter, less developed and mostly local (it also houses Bimini's small airport). The smallest of the three islands is East Bimini, which doesn't see any action from locals or tourists. The small size and slow pace of Bimini can be both a blessing and a challenge. On one hand, you'll get a true homegrown island experience rich with friendly locals and beautiful beaches. On the other, the challenges of still-developing infrastructure and clocks that run on "island time" might challenge your patience.

Packing for a cruise can be an exciting task, but it's essential to be aware of the restrictions on what you can and cannot bring onboard. While each cruise line may have slightly different policies, there are some general items that are universally prohibited.
Understanding these restrictions will save you from any hassle during embarkation and ensure a smooth sailing experience. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of items that are not allowed on cruises to help you plan your packing accordingly.
Cruises offer a chance to relax, explore, and enjoy a luxurious vacation. However, it's crucial to remember that these floating cities have strict security measures in place for the safety of passengers and crew. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, it's essential to familiarize yourself with the items you can't take on board, from hazardous materials to sharp objects.
### What Can You Not Take on a Cruise?
Cruises offer a chance to relax and explore new destinations, but it's important to be aware of the restrictions on what you can bring on board. Here are four practical tips to help you avoid any hassles during your cruise:
Check the cruise line's policies. Every cruise line has its own set of rules and regulations regarding what items are allowed on board. Be sure to check the cruise line's website or contact their customer service department before packing your bags.
Be aware of TSA regulations. If you're flying to your cruise departure port, you'll need to comply with the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) regulations for carry-on and checked baggage. These regulations prohibit bringing certain items on planes, such as liquids in containers larger than 3.4 ounces, sharp objects, and firearms.
Pack smart. When packing for your cruise, choose items that are easy to pack and won't take up too much space in your luggage. Avoid bringing bulky items or fragile items that could be easily damaged.
Leave valuables at home. It's not a good idea to bring valuable items, such as jewelry, expensive electronics, or large sums of cash, on your cruise. If these items are lost or stolen, you may not be able to recover them.
### Experience

To help you avoid any unpleasant surprises, we've put together a list of the most common items that are not allowed on cruises. So before you start packing, be sure to check out our list and make sure you're not bringing anything that's prohibited.
